Step By Step Guide Install & Configure VMware vSphere Data Protection 5.5

What is VDP?
vSphere Data Protection (VDP) is a robust, simple to deploy, disk-basedbackup and recovery solution. VDP is fully integrated with the VMware vCenter Server and enables centralized and efficient management of backup jobs while storing backups in deduplicated destination storagelocations.
The VMware vSphere Web Client interface is used to select, schedule, configure, and manage backups and recoveries of virtual machines. During a backup, vSphere Data Protection (VDP) creates a quiesced snapshot of the virtual machine. Deduplication is automatically performed with every backup operation.
Installing vSphere Data Protection 5.5 is very easy. Just download the vSphere Data Protection 5.5 OVA from VMwareNote-> there are three different versions of VDP 5.5 available and depending on your environment you will need to select a version. I selected the 1.0 TB version. Ensure DNS records are created for VDP 5.5 before deploying the appliance.
Lets start,
First deploy OVF file of VDP 5.5.
